Marginal uses Paddle as its merchant of record. That means Paddle handles the checkout, your receipts, taxes, and the secure storage of your payment details. We never see or store your card.

Managing your subscription

Open Settings → Plans and choose Manage Billing. This opens your Paddle customer portal, where you can update your payment method, switch between monthly and yearly, view invoices, or cancel.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from the billing portal. Your premium access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for; after that your account moves to free (see "What happens if I downgrade" under Premium Features). Nothing is deleted.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, Paddle retries it automatically over a few days and emails you. You don't need to do anything unless your card needs updating.

Common questions

Q: Where are my receipts? Paddle emails a receipt for every charge, and you can find them all in the billing portal.

Q: I was charged but premium didn't unlock. It usually appears within a minute. If it doesn't, refresh, then contact [email protected] with the email you used at checkout.
